The area opened at 9am and it was already 43 degrees. The snow pack did not freeze overnight. The tree-shaded trails were a bit firmer, but the sun exposed trails were getting slushy. First tracks OK, but cutup lines were slushy and rutted. The runs off the Magic Mile lift were also in the same condition. After 2 hours it was time to move out. Weather changing tonight.
