Went down to the Tatoosh last Saturday. See Tim's detailed write up here: http://thepeakoftheweek.com/2016/04/unicorn-peak/
Lots of loose wet slides on the approach, especially impressive slide path coming down from the cliffs above Snow Lake. Big ridge line cornices.
4 hours to the base of the climb, relatively short pitch of 5.6. Used a few nuts and a .75 cam.
Great day out there!

Great trip report and photos. ;)
Cool trip. I love these kinds of ski mountaineering missions, especially if snow is not ideal
Thanks Zap and kamtron.
It was the first time Tim and I combined touring with protected rock. The pitch up Unicorn is pretty trivial, but definitely happy we protected it as a fall could have high consequences. Great weather/conditions to focus on skill building.
