We got conditions much better than expected: There had been little or no rain Saturday, the base did not freeze very hard after the sunny day, and it snowed about 3" overnight and kept on falling most of Sunday. The result was 4-7" over a base that was a bit chunky but very forgiving. Off-piste snow around Hogsback held our attention, and treed spots all over Tye Mill chair were also good.
Crowds were very light---competition from gardening or basketball...? Definitely a good freshie day for late March.
