By some unknown for me reason gate was opened only at 9am (many people come to 8am) and they close gate at 9 pm. It is good idea to check conditions and working hours before you go.
Snow was good and boot track go all the way to camp Muir. Most of the people bring snowshoes, but only few actually use it.
