Armstrong finally loaded late morning after some mechanical issues. Not many people up so there was plenty of heavy pow for all. Got first tracks on the Fan. Around noon we headed over to Powder Bowl and it skied nice. So we went for another lap. As we entered the bowl I looked up and saw a loose wet slide headed right toward my partner. I called for him to start moving and he was able to ride out of the way. The slide was about 18 inches deep. After that we stuck to safer slopes. Reported the avy to the patrol. Cat track was then closed and a rope line set up to keep folks skiers left on lower nash. The very bottom was super sticky. Overall it was a fun day.
