Gorgeous day in the Olympics. Variable snow conditions going up (glop and fairly supportive crust at lower elevations; drifted powder above 6000); ice-axe recommended for the final ascent. By the time I started the ski-out the sun had cooked the snow into a manky mess below 6000. I had to dodge human-size pinwheels in the glades. There is a lot of fine snow in the N gullies, however: ski it before it's gone. N
Hey Nico, you should get one of those little boxes with the opening hole. I heard they make great images!
