Reporting to you from slope side (sorta). It was a very good day. The snow has transitioned from the powder of the last two days to packed pow. Where there was still stashes of powder, today's warming temperatures affected it. There was a dense mid-layer of fog across most of the mountain most of the day that affected visibility. However, GV was in the sun most of the day, so we did several lapse there in the morning. GV bowl skiing very nicely. On one trip up C3, saw Powder Bowl just open up in the sun. Headed there quick. Campbell Basin side riding up the chair very fogged in, but PB side had good vis. The top 2/3 was very nice, then got a little lumpy towards the bottom. Over into Bear Pits and while foggy, had fairly good vis in the trees. After some runs doing doors, LS trees, and BP, headed out to Northway where it was warm and completely sunny. Saw a bit of the big boys competition and found fairly nice snow in Paradise Bowl. Unfortunately, Bruce's Bowl was closed due to the comp and everything on the other side of the chair had also been impacted by the sun and warmth. Finished the day with lots of laps in GV, BP, and Outer Ferks. Plus, a big plate of nachos in the Bull Wheel. Very very good.

Lighter crowds than yesterday and they didn't have any parking attendants this morning, just a row of signs marking the pay parking. As a result, the rows in the free parking were hugely spaced and resulted in some people having to park in C lot. Nobody in B lot.

One more day tomorrow before heading back into town for a trip out of town to celebrate mom's 90th birthday. Go mom.

An excellent day again as it transitioned from soft packed pow with some leftovers to thick and crusty in the sun. The sun even penetrated the odd mid-level south-side fog causing damage. It skied out into nice packed pow on the northfacers, hard packing bumps in the sun. Unfortunately the cliff jumpin' boys and girls had two of the best looking aspects closed to the public as we poked around sunny Northway. Some great snow still in Bear Pits, when you could see, but won't last long in tomorrow's sun. Skiing with lots of momentum conquered most of the heavy afternoon snow as even the off sun angles slopes thickened up. Looks like we'll be sticking to skied out areas once it heats up tomorrow.
