First time skiing east of the Mississippi. Sunny and warm spring sking on 100% man made granular. Firm in the mornings. Corn and mush in afternoon. Maybe 1/3 to 1/2 of runs open. Anything without snowmaking completely bare. Two runs rated as double black diamonds had pleasant mushy moguls. Some spots had actual ice patches that were noisy to slide across. Demo skis took a few grass, wood and rock hits, but no core shots. Weird to look out from top of ski run and see nothing but bare dry forest in all directions, except for the WSD in front of you.
