March 6, 2016 Crested Butte, CO

We called Tony M on the 3/5, told him we were going to be in Crested Butte, and he was available to ski on the 6th.  Good, a storm was coming in the 6th  and that meant fresh powder.  It was great to finally meet Tony. The storm was coming in late morning, and Tony was our guide.  By 9am it had started snowing lightly.  The upper part of the mountain was in the clouds so we skied the lower trails with the trees so that there was some definition to the slopes.  He would tell us where the groomed runs left off and where the icy moguls were along the trail.  It was a fun day and tomorrow they will have more new snow. We had lunch at Pitas Restaurant and met Sally.  It was a great  day.  Thanks Tony.
