The vast majority of slab avalanches around Paradise occur on north through east aspects. I call what the link describes lee reversal. Amazing amounts of previously fallen snow can be transported to normally safer slopes in clear weather without necessarily showing up on telemetry. It's been the source of a couple close calls long ago for me (Nisqually Chutes & Golden Gate) and a couple of fatalities on Panorama Point back in the seventies.
