This morning started with high overcast and temps a little warmer than yesterday. Headed to Whistler as soon as the Peak-to-Peak opened for some great skiing in Harmony Bowl. Carvable chalk everywhere. Spent the entire morning there. Around 11am, started to get some sun breaks, but it never cleared completely as the weather report promised. Not an issue as the temps were perfect for the snow conditions. Right after lunch, headed for multiple runs on the Peak Chair, then the obligatory Peak-to-Creek run via West Bowl. West Bowl had the best snow on the mountain and we did repeats in the afternoon. We failed to notice the sign at the top of the Peak Chair informing us Peak-to-Creek wasn't groomed. Well, 5,000 vert of nicely carvable bumps turned into a great run. And, for some reason, LD didn't feel the need to stop. So, Big steep bumps in West Bowl to small bumps at the bottom of Creekside without a stop. Legs felt that one.

Finished the day with a run down Secret Chute back on the Blackcomb side. Tied with West Bowl for the best snow.

LD had the chicken corn chowder soup at lunch. It was a BIG bowl and came with a roll for $7.50CAN. With the exchange rate, that's $5.25 U.S. Soup was very good. Further confirmed my poor opinion of the price of soup at Crystal.

Not one lift line today. Not sure what's going on up here, but I have never seen Whistler this quiet. Maybe the mountain is taking a break after the hordes from President's Day week.

We must have sat around some today. Only 36K.
