2/22/16 Crystal Mountain

Long story short, an hour and a half of poking around found a discouraging array of crunchy leftover glop, firm cold groomers, and choppy bumps even in the shade. Even Bear Pits and Powder Bowl Right were skied down to icy slides into crunchy junk. Headed north and finally found some greatness. So, we built a Hamster Wheel outa Paradise/Paradise Trees (via Bruce’s Bowl) into Sphincterville to Chairline Bumps. Round and round without anyone in sight. As we wore out, the fog changed to sun for a run down Pucker’s Right (what’s with the new name of Glory Days? When did that happen?) A couple T2Bs to end the day found some aspects that will be perfect when the temps rise in the next few days. Persistence paid off.
