toured around Kendall Peak Lakes yesterday- at our high point had a nice view in to the entrance to the Kendall Adventure Zone 'mainline' chute...chucking snowballs and tapping ski poles on the snow at the top of the chute revealed widespread, rather stiff drum-like windslab. Didn't look like good or safe skiing was to be had in the chutes. Figured it was worth posting in case anyone is thinking about heading up mid-week. Might wanna pick another destination or at least bring a rope to more safely stop around on that slab before trying to skiing it.
