Tomorrow is the Snow Moon and fingers crossed for clear skies. Any suggestions -- based on previous experience or idle speculation -- of areas in Snoqualmie Pass that would make for a good moonlight tour? Ideal would have an east facing aspect -- are there any approaches to Granite Mountain from the Denny Creek Waterslide Trailhead? Looks really heavily forested on GMaps Satellite. Thanks in advance for the tips.

One could do worse than humble Hyak. Snow Lake can be sublime by starlight, so I suspect the moon will be too. The myriad venues above Source Lake will give easterly aspect and open slopes.

Plenty of trees on the way up to the saddle between Low and Granite. Crossing the creek/bridge is an adventure in some snow years.

This one was from a couple of years ago during the March full moon in Alpental Valley. Scored a great powder night with clear skies and full moon.
