After finding heavy snow in the afternoon on west aspects yesterday, we aimed for NE to NW aspects today between 3100-5000'. The clear night and more northerly skiing plus an overcast day provided us much drier 10-15" fresh coverage, occasional scraping on slopes steeper than 30 degrees. Conditions where we skied, timbered and open, showed no wind or sun affect, and at mid day we even had a surprise appearance of El Sol providing beautiful views for our Austrian guests who had enjoyed(?) an inch of rain while gatekeeping Knoll One last Sunday.
