A group of us started skiing about 1:30 PM after coming up from the east side. Puking wet snow, ~ 1.5 inches on the car at 5:30 PM. Heavy PNW classic potatoes/cottage cheese, yet curiously skiable if you just push forward with confidence. Maintaining visibility was a challenge and the climatic conditions were perfect for soaking through even the best of gear. The coverage was excellent and there was 3-8", sometimes more, between the trees. Best runs may have been the higher elevation groomers getting a windy coating of the lighter stuff. 

Great turns and light crowds all day. I left as you were arriving.
