I met Runcle at the visitor center at 9:30 for a casual day. We found 4-6" mush on N, some good wind transport on S on a collapsing rain layer, in a warming and strengthening blizzard. Gotta love it. It was a truncated day; the rangers cleared everyone out at 2 pm. The road was clear of snow and ice by 4000'.
Soup: chicken-sausage gumbo from the Safeway by the Toadlily House; yummy and great for warming back up.
