We left the parking lot at 7am and did the normal Mt Catherine route.
The snow was surprisingly dry considering Saturday lift skiing at East had found quick set concrete on all aspects.
We generally found 4" to 6" of lighter power snow from the summit (5K') down to 4500'. The skiing was very fun from the summit to this point.
In the mature timber there was ~2" of powder over crunchy crust that was loud but skied well.
