Beaver Creek 2/5/16

Cold and clear with soft snow, great terrain, and no crowds. Beaver Creek was awesome! Warmed up on the mellow runs around Arrowhead/Bachelor Gulch. Even found fluff in the Aspens from the 2" last night and the 3' in the last 5 days. Went over to the main mountain and enjoyed the wide open, groomed terrain mixed with great bumps. Worked myself over to Birds of Prey course and found an open backcountry hate that lead to deep fresh snow in some nice glades, then a bunch of bush sacking and tree well dodging thru too tight trees. As punishment, I went up the black diamond "bumps only" Grouse Mountain till my knees gave out.

Reminded me of a good weekday at Whistler. Great facilities, great terrain, long runs. Has everything except the steeps and the open side country.
