Troy and I found ourselves graced with a beautiful aesthetic couloir Tuesday afternoon.
We got a crack of 1:00 p.m. start due to morning obligations but moved non stop to the top and quickly set up the rope for rappel.
A deluge of deep, wondrous powder coated us with every luxurious turn. Soon fleeting light waned as the sun set behind the surrounding mountain tops.
In what seemed the blink of an eye the elation had passed and it was time to climb toward the exit for our illuminated ski back under a star filled sky.
