After looking at those photos from the Paradise trip report, I'm wishing I lived closer so I could make more turns down there. But, I'll have to settle for what the Baker area has to offer for now. Today, it offered about 8 - 15 inches of moderately dry snow up top and heavier down towards the bottom on top of what seems like was a breakable crust. Snow depth was variable with evidence of recent slide activity. I made one lap and tried to get the best out of it without pausing on the descent.
