Jan 29-31, 2016 Grand Targhee + 2016 CFS (vid)

Hello TAYers. We headed to Grand Targhee this past weekend for the Collegiate Freeride Series. After a bluebird Thursday (that I missed in Boise for business), Friday was a mix of snow and freezing rain. But......the goods were on there way and we woke to 17 inches of new snow on Qualifier Saturday.

Which typically is a good thing, but the Ski Patrol blasted the crap out of the venue, turning powder into very unpredictable avy debris snow. Not faulting them, safety first of course. But it made for a day where even the most conservative line could end up with a fall.

Well, it got Graham. He was looking good and skiing strong, only to hit a hole when he landed that blew him up. Rats.

Yet, enjoy the vid of the powder skiing which was very good!
