Skied some slopes east of Castle today.  Inversion in full effect.  Heavy glop on south aspects, bits of windslab on northern ones, but good skiing in places.  One in our party ski-triggered a decent-sized slab avalanche when skiing over a rollover near the ridgeline, NE aspect.  Left about a 2-foot crown sitting on an icy bed surface.  Perhaps 40 feet in width.  Skinned up along the ridgeline, bailed on one slope due to pit results we didn't like.  Had some great skiing lower down in the trees.  Snow improved the lower we went.
