Doug Green

I met Doug Green in 1991 when we were both interns at The University of Vermont.  What a dork.  What a skier.  What a genuinely humble and kind human being.  Sure am glad for those days skiing together back then, and to get to see you once every five or more years when you came up from Seattle to ski near Baker.  Very sorry to have not kept in better touch.  So sorry to hear you've left us.

Really sorry to hear that. Lots of good folks going down.

Of logistic note is that he was buried 4-5' under with his avalanche airbag inflated...

His partner was a prominent backcountry skiing guide and author of  "Backcountry Skiing Utah."
