Approached from the Lanham Lake side. Snow was mostly consolidated from the last storm. Broke out of the fog at about 5500 ft. Continued up to about 6400 ft where we saw evidence of some slide activity from the previous day. Descended back towards the lake via our route up. Probably saw 5 or 6 other groups up there on Saturday. Nice tree Skiing!

Great post! I'm virtually certain we ran into you guys up there and asked about your planned descent. I also think we may have followed your ascent tracks, unfortunately, which indeed started the traverse a bit too high up the valley and resulted in an onslaught of tight switchbacks. Our day started too late to get a shot at the summit of Jim Hill so we gained the ridge (the vantage in this photo) and descended more or less the way we came, but on a more northerly traverse. It was a beautiful day in the mountains
