January 6, 2016 Mt. Hood Meadows was created by Zap
We decided to try the other side of Mt. Hood at Mt. Hood Meadows. We had discount tickets that we purchased online. We have not skied at Meadows for 6 years. The terrain has not changed, but it is so different from Timberline. We skied the following express quads: Mt. Hood, Hood River, Shooting Star, Vista and Cascade. Heather Canyon was open and the Heather double were operating. We skied as many groomers as our quads and knees could handle. The remaining untracked lines were on the upper part of the mountain in the fog with no trees. With few visitors we never saw a lift line and rarely saw anyone else on the trails as we skied the area. As usual we started early and left as more people were arriving.
The last time we were at Meadows was when we skinned up Wy' East Face. It was on a beautiful spring day and there was great corn on the steep face. Seeing it again brought back some wonderful memories.

sounds like the 'seeing' part was the most difficult.
