Deep base, nice weather, big resort. With long runs and good grooming this nice area has everything except steeps and extreme. With some new snow over the last few days I did a bit of side country and found some good soft powder. The signs at the edge of the resort boundary talked about penal codes and arrest, so I stayed in closed inbounds areas that had nicer sounding signs. (I love Canada)
I used to hear this place called Flatstar. With the backside and Lookout Mountain that's not really the case anymore. There some nice, long bump runs, and some of the groomers are steep.
