Done did a little sled access touring today. Eckhart Pt. Which happens to be an outlying butte of Mt. Adams which happens to have some quality low elev. snow this December. After leaving the Snowship behind I skinned from about 3250' to about 4690' and then turned it around. Snow was real nice to about 3800' then the experience degraded due to a noticeable crust a little less than 12" down and thickening vine maple. Here's to more low elev. snow events this winter!
