the highest logging clearcut made for some good turns, but if you prefer to not have gouged ptex and dulled edges stay away from the last 1000ft of the climb to the top of Arrowhead...the snowpack needs to be at least another two or three feet deeper to allow for worry-free turns.
The glade runs off the top are still very much peppered with large rocks lurking under what looks like bottomless fluff.
time to get out the ptex iron.

Sounds (and looks) like the Snoqualmie region too - some greag skiing, some sketchy coverage in places with well-hidden obstacles. We were wallowing a bit on low angle stuff yesterday as well. And the tree wells are man eaters in that early season kind of way too. Lotsa air down there, and they're wider than they seem.

Surf's up!
:D
