Yesterday was good, so why change? Made an abbreviated version of yesterday's tour, this time with substantially-greater logistical complexity, including a mid-tour rendezvous with the newest half of our group. Thanks Allison, Chris, Kyle, Silas, and Susan!

We toured all day with eyes open for Monty, calling out when it made sense to do so, and flipping beacons to search when it was safe. It's a difficult search, given the limited information we've received.  Our group lacked the logistical cohesion and technical skill needed, but we felt that a downhill beacon search of the thick trees to climber's left of the usual uptrack (into the Trees proper, north of the waterfall) might have the greatest chance of success, given the habits of the average soloist and tracks we'd seen. A strong organized party could clear quite a bit of territory in a few (pleasant!) laps of Kendall Trees.   We did descend through those trees, without any sightings.

Snow: More new today, with moderate bond. The face near middle Kendall Lake slid again, with different character and a second crown. Steepest slopes above the waterfall on the approach all featured small crowns. Skiing was still quite good. The luge track is still tight, but it's in top form.

Good hunting and good luck to everyone involved with the search!
Thanks Charlie, it was great to be out with you and Susan!

Good to see you guys out there, and nice skiing.
