Spent the whole first half of the day in the Southback. All I could say is wow. Took first track in one of the chutes on the north side of the king, the snow was bottomless, billowing, and almost too light (almost) for the line. It wouldn't stay out of my face. Wasn't too impressed w/inbounds, but it was soft with stashes here and there. Northback was good too, but I-5 is really ugly with blower on rocks. It seems that you need to ski with wind and sun exposure from 2 weeks ago in mind to avoid rocks.
