December 12, 2015, Skyline Lake
« on: 12/16/15, 01:55 PM »

Left the car around 8:30 sat morning.  passed a couple parties on the way up.  Continued up to skiers summit and back to the lake before doing 2 laps in the back bowl there.  Snowpack was quite stable.  Pit showed nothing of concern, not much evidence of rain crust we'd read about.  Surprised to hear there was a soft slab slide in this area on Sunday.

Snow skied great, very fun day out there minus the trouble I had with the new BD skins.  Would not recommend purchasing, whatever they've done to the glue they need to un-do.

How does one post a photo from Flickr?

Quote this post to see the BBCode. I got the links to the images by right-clicking on the images in Chrome, selecting "Inspect", then copying the obvious link to the bigger of the two JPEGs from the <img> tag whose class is "main-photo".

Thanks for sharing, happy posting!

Had a great Tuesday up in Moonlight with a couple of guys. We ran into one other party of 4 while lapping the bowl. Noticed the snow was wind-affected but right side up. Ski cuts didn't get anything except small pillows to move. What happened to the carful of ladies from Missouri? My friends were hoping to find you up there :-)
