Light pow. North facing slopes were deeper, with knee to thigh coverage in places and my first ever mini-face shots. Southerly slopes were thinner with old icy moguls or even rocks catching hold. I guess this might be due to wind transport. They were a little late getting the lifts going but we felt fortunate to be able to experience this good snow. Patrol was audibly bombing into the late afternoon, mainly to the south.
