Good pow skiing in sheltered bowls and drift zones. Typical wind blown cornice building on northeast aspects. No access Sat for the third consecutive week...maybe tomorrow ::)
The road was open Friday but not Saturday?  Odd.  Heavy snow Friday night?
Congrats on getting up there at long last....

Yup. Fridays have been the most reliable for access. Wind I think has been the culprit. I don't envy the Ranger up there who has to manage the chaos with skiers in the backcountry, blizzard conditions, drifting snow in the lot, chainless cars, etc.  Having said that, it seems like there was more reliable access 20 years ago with more will and less equipment.   Pending another decision this morning at 10:00.

Best to wait for a high pressure system that's going to be around for a while if your coming from off the Peninsula :)
