Tried to beat the storm with an 8:00 AM skin up toward Herman Saddle. It was snowing and blowing from the get-go. We made it up to abt 5,000 feet and skied pleasant open slopes with the occasional large boulder here and there. Watch steeper rollovers, as there is a crust in places which the new (4-6") at the time, was cracking on.
Hit the bigger blueberry chute end of day Friday, the 11th, and that was consolidated wind pow that was not moving.
