Light winds and gray skies this morning were much nicer than yesterday's stormy weather. Gondola began loading before 830! Creek beds aren't yet filled in, but rock skis are no longer necessary. With some attention to detail we found nice 12-16" medium density powder on slopes protected from wind affect. The ski area did not open the side country and the exit track was not groomed so 20 of us had Southback to ourselves today.
