Escaped the crowds over on whistler today by bumping a few peaks over from the summit chair. Very warm day, didn't need any of my layers almost all day. Piccolo and Odin had me a bit discouraged, but it all paid off coming into singing pass. Nice boot top/lower knee fluff with no crust for ~85-100m above singing pass which was surprising given the temperatures and lack of precipitation the past couple of days. Ventured over toward fissile as well, but only found more sastrugi, must have been the trees and the deeper-ish valley that kept the goods fresh past Odin. Not too many parties out there, and I left you a fine skin track out, so have at it!
Might look for that track on Monday. Good work finding the good stuff. Amazing how in perfect conditions things can stay fresh for so long! I gotta check elevations but maybe you were low enough to be somewhat out of the inversion and it stayed cooler.
