It was a bit cold and windy.
5 inches of fresh snow on a variable scorgieable base, with early season obstacles.
We skied towards Herman Saddle, went into a NW bowl, via a steep boot pitch to a saddle.
Fresh Chowdah, although some scraping could be heard.

A fantastic ski day for early season!
Good clean fun! It may have been a bit scratchy under the 5-7" of new snow, but it was more fun than hiking (which is already pretty fun). And what a beautiful area. There was a moderate size crowd of cars at the upper lot, but we still had that bowl all to ourselves for the early afternoon, with another group deciding to go up there only after we exited back out to see all the intriguing up and down tracks on the north face of Table. Thanks for a great day out, Skip - just what I needed before a long weekend of food and visiting and urban walking.
