The brochure PDF doesn't give much insight into the specifics of proposals. Is there documentation with more specifics of the various alternatives?

You are right. Less there than I thought. All the public meetings are already done with.

the MRNP website says, in full bureaucratic vigor:
"Mount Rainier National Park is initiating a Wilderness Stewardship Plan (WSP) to guide the preservation of wilderness character and the management of visitor use and enjoyment of Mount Rainier Wilderness. The proposed WSP and its effects will be analyzed in an environmental impact statement (EIS). Public involvement is crucial to the WSP/EIS planning process.

Public scoping meetings for the Mount Rainier Wilderness Stewardship Plan and Environmental Impact Statement will be held November 16th through November 19th in Seattle, Tacoma, Ashford, and Buckley, Washington. A federal register notice of intent to prepare an EIS is also anticipated in mid-November, and will identify the end date of the public scoping period. A brochure containing more details including a description of how to comment may be found by clicking "Documents" on the sidebar to the left."

The only document is the brochure, which is darn vague:
parkplanning.nps.gov/showFile.cfm?projec...IL%2Epdf&sfid=225214

You can comment here
parkplanning.nps.gov/commentForm.cfm?documentID=69074

maybe this means not opening the Longmire gate until noon.....
