Six of us headed up to Crystal for our first tour of the year. Overall a gorgeous day with little wind and cool temps. The bottom was very thin, but improved to the point where Powderbowl skied very well; about 6" of powder and no rock issues. We heard from others that Silver Basin also was pretty good. Our exit was less stelllar - after unearthing rocks and dirt at the base of Rainier Express, we elected to walk down from Forest Queen at the end of the day.
