November 8, 2015, Connaught, Rogers Pass

Wild times in Rorgers Pass this weekend. 3ft +- over two days + pleasant weather + crowd consisting of side country enthusiasts=many skier triggers.

Size two on Balu (pictured), Size three on Bruins Ridge, small slabs on Video, and Lower Bruins Ridge
I expect there were other skier triggers I did not see.

Saying all this it was possible to navigate the alpine if you avoided the typically wind loaded areas (east aspects). Treeline elevations skied fairly nice with the coastal snow bridging rocks. The pass is getting a good base going, so far I have only seen storm snow interfaces, no rain crusts or facets as of yet!
