Here's the latest from our hero Tom Szwedko:  "I went to Independence pass today and skied south along fence line ridge up to about 12700ft maybe 4+ mile r/t. Visible was poor at times until it cleared some on way back so no pics from high point. Unfortunately forecast to be warmer and drier next 6-7 days 60-70 in Denver. Cold at night but into 40s here. Snow on Ipass variable depth since blown into drifts maybe 6-18in and snow not wet but heavy making good base. I followed snowplow up pass only 1-side of road plowed. Snowplows got stuck on both sides on pass. Newdrift formed on edge of ridge should not melt."

Also, he has skied 47 of the past 53 days.  Wise guy (not wiseguy) to make the move to Leadville, Colorado a few decades ago.

Hard to brag about 2 of the last 60.  Thanks for sharing Silas.  Tom is an inspiration.
