Snow levels was created by Martyg
We had a brief break in the weather in Glacier and I took advantage of that to go for a run. Snow levels look to be about 4,500' this afternoon. I have it on good authority that there was 17" of fresh snow at 7,000' on Sunday. It has just gotten significantly colder since then.

Definitely not 17" at Muir, but Baker-land is a snow magnet...

I haven't been up or spoken to anyone who has been up. I've stayed low and working on chores that have been on my TDL before the season gets serious. However we do have what looks like good coverage in the 542 corridor. Would love to hear reports from someone - just so I can know what I am missing.

On 9/7 near Little Devil at 6500', we found 3-4 inches of settled wet snow atop summer-burnished old snow on sheltered and shady slopes. New-old bond was moderate to weak.
