Needed to get out and see how conditions are on the snow field. Warm and sunny until about 7500, at which point we hit consistent snow, and climbed into the cloud layer. Snow was soft and easy to skin. Made a quick turn around at Muir and began our slow descent. Between visibility getting as low as 100', grabby snow, and a distinct lack of ski legs, the ski down was slower than usual. If we had a little sun, it would have made for better turns.
