Quick conditions update-
Walked about 1 hour from Cold Springs, then skinned to lunch counter with no carries. Used crampons from lunch counter to Piker's, boot and ski varieties bith worked fine. Skinned from Pikers to summit without crampons with no trouble.
Dropped into the chutes around 1130 - slightly after noon might be a bit better. Slightly undercooked corn in the top, excellent smooth corn in the middle, sticky and bumpy towards the bottom.
Ran out of snow about 500vf above around the mountain trail. Changed to approach shoes and 40 minutes of walking took us back to the south climb route.
Not quite as good as when we skied it in early July last year, but still worth the trip, especially with the bad winter.

Three of us were up there on Saturday and had a blast. On our way down the SW chutes I came across a red dog boot like the one linked below. If your pup is missing one let me know and I can get it to you.
