April 26, 2015, Birthday Tour, WA Pass

I last skied January 1st, so when the idea of a birthday tour was floated I had to go. The mountains were calling!
Main runs were well traveled and skied out, but fresh pockets existed if you looked around. Shady aspects were 1-6" of powder over a variable crust.
A couple guys hit the cornice, that was fun to watch! We headed south down some creamy smooth corn to copper creek.
The main col from copper creek to early winters was a mogul run. A little exploration above hairy cornices revealed a 200' powder run for me! At least a foot deep of shaded blower! Woohoo, 3 for 3 this year on powder days, best year ever! (percentage wise..., worst ever on # of days skied)
Up to the col
SEWS to Liberty Bell
Bluebird!
Skinning up one last time
Mt Goat (center) showing us the way to drop!
