It was good skiing up there last weekend. A large group of us camped down at Morrison Creek where it was snow-free. Day trips up to the SW chutes and avalanche glacier headwall were good entertainment. Skinning is still possible almost the whole way, with an approximately 200' carry early on. The new snow was not entirely consolidated or smooth, but it still skied nicely, and the SW chute was heavily tracked-out. Lots of people were out enjoying the good weather. Another great weekend in the mountains!
