April, 20, Stevens Pass - melting fast!

pushed my start time at work back to 2pm in light of the fun times encountered on the 18th in order to sneak an extra run in.

3600ft vertical skied all up. Skyline and Cowboy still skiing great! - the skin track up the NW ridge of cowboy mountain is getting green to say the least! Found my ski poles pushing into as much soft damp PNW earth as I did snow, and is pretty much done now I think.

A bit of walking needed from the base area today (about 100 feet) to find continuous snow. Skyline getting patchy lower down in spots. fabulous runs on Skyline and Cowboy, down to hogsback and base area. Mountain Bike Trail is also fun skiing!!
