After skiing yesterday, we stopped at the local bar for espressos and then drove 85 kilometers on super windey roads in two hours to our next base for corn harvest. Only two bnbs are open between Easter and summer, and no restaurants that we could find. With that of course came a near wilderness lonely awesome ski day!!

Our bnb would not serve before 8 so we went to the earliest open bar at 7 for a couple cappuccinos and croissants. Then the six mile 20 minute drive brought us to the road end at 5200' with no other cars on a perfect bluebird day with a cooling light breeze for the easy 3000' skinup. Four others joined us on the summit for a break before gliding a perfect 30 degree west facing slope with 1/2" creamed corn. Beers at the car, then more at the bar, a shower and little siesta before a stroll and dinner. La dolce vita. Mmmm.

April Cascade pow looks nice, my departure for yurp is responsible.
Than sounds like truly civilized skiing!

Come on Silas we need some pic's!

you are..  the most interesting skier in the world
