First day of Euro ski safari 2015 was a good one, beautiful scenery (google Wilder Kaiser until I have photo download ability), blue skies, light winds and boot top powder.  Lotsa people but lotsa terrain choices so there were fresh lines all day for those who wanted  them.  Apfel strudel with vanilla sauce and schlag (whipped cream) was the apres ski reward, mmmm.  Need senior sitters, come on over, I can only compensate you with fun, no financial assistance.
Sounds pretty awesome over there.
Hope to share a few beers with you before I head North.

Good report from such a low elevation network of ski areas in April during a lackluster Austrian snow year.
90 lifts for 45 Euro is the way lift served skiing should be! We are fooled in North America IMO.
371 ski areas in Austria, which is 1/2 the size of Washington State. And yet, there are still untouched wild slopes as far as the eye can see.... Go figure!
Have a great trip. Eat some Grostl, Speck and more Strudel!
Wish I could have stayed all Winter... the lucky live in Austria.
